Do you want to stop litter flowing into our waterways and Port Phillip Bay?
This Source Reduction Plan workshop connects likeminded people and helps the community tackle litter at the source. It will include:

An introduction to the framework for developing a Source Reduction Plan to address litter and marine debris at the source

A summary of the most common littered items collected locally (collated from the Australian Marine Debris Initiative Database, other local data sources, photos and local knowledge)

Overview of the location and effort of clean-up activities

Overview of the existing capacity and partnerships in each council region helping to address marine debris and litter

The latest news and approaches from Australia and around the world of tackling the marine debris issue

A partnership approach to develop a local Source Reduction Plan
Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Spaces are strictly limited, so registrations are essential.
